For the past two days, coinciding with Melbourne’s Mooba Festival, Riverslide Skate Park has been the home of The Australian Skateboarding League National Final. With over 100 skaters competing, the park has seen some impressive style and skill.
The 12&U and 16&U Semi-Finals went down on Friday the 9th, with the Open Male and Female Semi’s happening on Saturday the 10th. This year The Australian Skateboarding League is proud to be offering equal prize money (a total of $10,000) to both the Open Male and Female divisions – a positive move towards empowering all our female skaters!
Thank you to all the friends and family who came out to support their skaters, especially those who have traveled inter-state to be here over the weekend.
Massive thank you to our series partners: Brisbane City Council, Adelaide City Council, Clarence City Council, Central Coast Council, City of Stonnington, City of Darwin, City of Melbourne, Riverslide Skate Park, YMCA Victoria, YMCA QLD, YMCA SA, YMCA NSW, YMCA Hobart, YMCA of the Top End, The Boardr, Skate Australia, Victorian Skateboarding Association, Skateboarding NT.
