The Know Your Odds presents Tasmanian Skate Park League 2017-18 Series will be kicking off on the 17th of December at North Hobart Skate Park and aims to:
- Provide typically disengaged young people a chance to feel engaged with their local community
- Offer youths a space to feel valued and have a platform to showcase their talent along with being linked in to a national pathway/series
- Active and promote positive behaviour relating to council run spaces such as skate parks.
The Skate Park League team are excited to be working with local youths, councils and other partners to deliver the series of events that will cover four different locations across Tasmania. All competitions include scooter, BMX and skate categories and are free to enter. Prizes are raffled off so everyone who enters has a chance of walking away a winner! Medals are awarded to the place winners at each event.
Event Dates:
North Hobart Skatepark // Sunday 17th December
Huonville Skatepark // Sunday 21st January
Beaconsfield Skatepark // Saturday 27th January
Kangaroo Bay Skatepark // Friday 2nd February
